The Met is transforming to become a service that truly delivers for you.
Through the new platform Met Engage you can get to know your local officers, help shape how we police your local area and have direct access to key information and advice.
This isn't just a platform for you to be told what the Met is doing in the area, it's an opportunity for you to tell them what's concerning you most so they can take action on the things that matter to you.
We maintain contact with Police both at the Borough level and at the "Safer Neighbourhoods" level. Please remember to report crimes to us, as well as to the Police, so that we can keep Members informed of criminal activity
If you wish to contact the local police this can be done using the details below:
15 Queens Road, Wimbledon, SW19 8NN
Telephone 020 8649 3052
Email: hillside.SNT@met.pnn.police.uk
Call them on 020 8721 2459 or email raynespark.snt@met.police.uk
We attend the local Community Forums organised by the Council and report back to Members on points of interest, particularly planning issues, traffic and parking issues, matters concerning waste disposal - and anything else that comes up for discussion.
An important part of our work is maintaining contact with nearby residents' organisations, and being aware of their issues. To this end, we are members of the Wimbledon Union of Residents' Associations and we also attend meetings of the Raynes Park and West Barnes Association whenever possible.
Sustainable Merton is a community led initiative giving local residents, groups, organisations and businesses the opportunity to stimulate practical action to make our area a sustainable community. They are engaged in projects covering renewable energy and energy saving, local food growing, water conservation and raising awareness of the issues associated with climate change.
