The South Ridgway Residents’ Association (SRRA) exists to safeguard and enhance the quality of life in our neighbourhood in Wimbledon and Raynes Park. We cover the roads between The Downs and Pepys Road (East to West) and between Ridgway and Worple Road (North to South). SRRA has for many years led successful campaigns on behalf of residents against ill-considered development proposals, council traffic schemes and the like. We are a voluntary association with a membership of over 400 households, run by a small committee and individual road representatives.
The more members we have, the stronger our voice in fighting unwelcome change to this attractive area and in influencing the Council and other authorities to make a positive difference. There are well over 1,000 households in our area so collectively we could have even more influence over local affairs.
The main benefit of joining is knowing you are helping to look after our neighbourhood. You’ll also get valuable local news updates by email, plus a hard copy newsletter once a year and a dedicated website with useful information and links to other relevant websites. We offer two or three opportunities a year to meet your neighbours, with free refreshments. There is a spring get-together, where you can meet your MP, local councillors and local police representatives. In summer we hold a members’ gathering outside, weather permitting. And in November there’s an informal drinks do at the Rushmere pub. All for just £5.00 a year per household.
Just click here. You will be directed to a secure website operated by GoCardless, a reputable payment processor used by many other respected organisations. We look forward to welcoming you to the SRRA.
